Class 01

Getting Started (Appetizers) and a Guide to Better Menu Planning.
Cooking Skills to take home: Learn the secrets to making homemade stocks, how to poach, elegant salad making and plating.
Recipes may include: Bubby’s Chicken Soup, Perfectly Poached Salmon, Baby Spinach Salad with Citrus & Avocado

Class 02

The Main Event (Main course and side dishes) and Hints & Tips toward an easier (and more enjoyable!) Shabbat preparation.
Cooking Skills to take home: No-fail frying, knife skills, sautéing and steaming. Recipes may include: Murgi Chicken, Butternut Rice Pilaf, Roasted Red Peppers & Asparagus

Class 03

So You Think You Can’t Bake! Baking 101 will prove you wrong! Cooking Skills to take home: Separating Eggs, Perfectly Stiff Peaks (egg whites), pastry and pie making skills. Recipes may include: Flaky Pastry Dough, Old Fashioned Apple Pie, Marble Chiffon Cake

Class 04

Challah 101: All the whats, hows and whys you always wanted to know about making challah. Learn step by step while we investigate the spiritual significance of our most important bread.
Baking skills to take home: Challah and general bread making tips, proofing and kneading, braiding techniques, Torah sources and ideas for understanding the mitzvah of Hafrashat Challah (Tithing the dough), and babka too!
