She teaches the what, why, and how to “Cook it forward” – deliciously gourmet ways to give in her live demos, classes and tasting programs.

Demos

  • 1 hour demo (could be longer or shorter based on program need)
  • Includes 3-4 recipes, presentation, book signing.
  • Add-on: Sampling of tastings
  • Appropriate for a larger crowd

Sample Topics

  • How to Cook for a Crowd without losing your cool! Menu to include appropriate recipes for entertaining: large quantity yield recipes or small bites.
  • Making the most of your time in the kitchen: strategies for success and self care. Menu can either focus on timesaving “repurposing” dishes or recipes that can serve multiple purposes; or on recipes that address self-care. 
  • A Time to Share: Great Holiday Menus (menus dependent on season)
  • Cook It Forward: Cooking for Others (and their diets without concern)

Workshops/Hands on Classes:

  • Full 2–3-hour hands on cooking class (customizable). Students register in advance and will be actively cooking and/or assisting.
  • Appropriate for a small group (8-14 people)

Sample Classes (can also be done as a demo):

  • Holy Carbs: Challah, breadmaking and braiding techniques.
  • Memorable Meals that Gather (could be ethnic themed menus).
  • Soup Giving Challenge: great soups to welcome, share and nourish

Tastings

  • 10–20-minute short demo (1-2 recipes or a demo of a technique/concept e.g. building
    a cheese board or crostini bar)
  • A rotation of small bites/tastings (from the book’s recipes) located around the room for people to taste while socializing o Book signing (books for sale)
  • Appropriate for a younger demographic and/or for events with the goal of socializing
